I’ve decided to go on a cooking campaign to expand my culinary capabilities and lighten the burden on my wallet. The first step was finding a good cookbook with a variety of food categories and simple recipes which are fun to make. A trip to Borders and a little time spent reviewing their stock, I found the perfect cookbook that matches exactly what I was looking for. It’s called The Vegetarian 5-Ingredient Gourmet by Nava Atlas. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to start cooking fun and simple recipies.
Additionally, we had a new roommate move in about two weeks ago who used to be a chef for upper-crust restaurants in the Albuquerque area. Having him around to give some cullinary coaching tips now and then is very helpful. I suggest you get your own in-home chef for the occasional pointers too.
